I have time to reflect and with Christmas on the horizon I am looking on it as a time to change and prepare for change. I can't make myself better but I can change the way I deal with it.
Visiting this site is a great way to look at my advent and change my life for the better.
God sends us to places, he gives us people to help but we have to recognise that he has done it.

They moved to France 19 months ago after my daughter's marriage failed. Her husband told she had the easy option; of moving to a country where she didn't know the language and would thereby not be able to support her children and where the children had to go to school not understanding anything.

God works in his own mysterious ways
At first I wondered if I was pushing him to do this but he assures me that he is enjoying it all.
We get along very well with the couple who ran the Alpha course and who are doing bible study with us, it is easier as they are British whereas the services at church are in French; but we are getting there.

How to deal with something a little different
Last evening we got ready and said goodbye to the family only to find the car wouldn't start. My husband thought it might have had something to do with the days of rain we have had and the car was just a little soggy.
We took my car which my daughter's partner is using at the moment and got to church just as the priest arrived.
