I wrote this poem this month enjoy!
His hand in mine
There at the beach as I walked in the sand
I felt the breeze of the ocean waves
and i felt as though He was holding my hand.
As we walked in the sand His hand in mine
not a word was said, but the love I felt
didnt need words, just feeling His presence was more than enough.
seems like everything around me melted away and then suddenly I was in His arms and He carried me the rest of the way.

WORDS
Words of love and kindness go unused
Words that abuse, word the bruise and confuse are used instead
Words I have heard before…Words I dread…
Words that should go unsaid for tears to be unshed
Words that cut to the bone…Words that leave me isolated and alone…
Wondering when it was you turned to stone…
Wondering how I ever thought this was love…
Words that leave me bleeding onto the page…onto life’s stage
Words that make me feel worthless
Words that I don’t want to engage…
That if act on will end up on the front page… from the unused rage…

DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM
Do You Know Who I Am?

Do you know who I am...
Do you care...
Or did you only look how I was dressed...

Did you take the time to confess...
that you think you're better than I.
As you turned your head and sighed...
Did you know what you know what you believe about me is a lie...

My God's name is Jesus… I may not live under a roof but I live under His grace…
Despite the dirt on my clothes and face… He doesn't think I am a disgrace.

Do you know who I am…
I am not the only one.
What was it Jesus said…
Yet you still turn your head…
Wouldn't He have reached out with love instead...

Do you know who I am..
You could be me…
Or are you still too blind to see

DARKNESS
Darkness

Time moves slowly… Did I hear promises or did I
hear lies…is this love in disguise


Hope begins to die…fear is laid at my feet

I want to run and hide…panic
twists inside.

Darkness falls, I am hidden I am invisible.
I hear the enemy chuckle.
This feels fatal,I am fearful, I cry and call His name
He is here with me.
I don't have to explain.
I give Him my pain
I look into His eyes.
He has heard my cries,
I can say nothing,my heart sighs.

Sorry Pie
It is said that to forgive is hard
When life is bruised and conscience scarred
Deep hurt just courses through each vein
While every sinew's torn with pain.
Your brian is confused, emotions swirl
As hour by hour the scenes unfurl
New struggles rage yet who knows when
I can forgive ............ be forgiven.

Are there days when you're aware
That others will just stand and stare
They'll wait for you to make mistakes
One carless step is all it takes.
Are there days when you're dead sure
That you're succumbed to earths allure
You realise the stains of life
Have soiled your joy , and cut like a knife
Into your very soul it seems
And left a trail of shattered dreams.

It's then that people ask me why
I carry around my sorry pie
It's then that I can do what's right
At any time of day and night
I simply cut a piece and say
I can't change the past, lifes cruel that way,
But with a bite you'll see anew
What Sorry pie can do for you.

The recipe is peace and love
Blended well by God above
Fashioned by the great chef's hand
A recipe for every land
So wipe the teardrops from your eye
And cut a piece of sorry pie
With just one bite you'll see anew

THE DIVINE SPARK

The Immensity of God
The littleness of the Babe
The lowliness of the sinner
and yet we are raised
to new life
from nothingness to eternity.

The light of the star
to point the way.
The little town that received
the majesty of God.

Not the sun which emits,
but the Son who comes
and remains ... and yet
prepares a place for us
to be where He is
Forever.
