PRAISE JESUS ~ I WON MY DISABILITY!

Today is truly a day of JUBILEE!!! My husband turns 50 and I had my day in court. All I had to do was promise to tell the truth and state the last day I was employed. My lawyer and the judged did the rest. The judge reviewed my doctor's letter and evaluation forms all the pertinent information about my limitations and my diagnosis of RSD/Chronic Pain Syndrome and he approved me for retroactive pay for two years and pay from henceforth. I was in a daze the whole time, as yesterday I had the worst migraine and was completely knocked out the entire day in bed on pain meds and sedatives. This morning the pain was still there so I took more meds and my daughter drove me to my hearing. I sat there, somewhat befuddled and didn't understand what they were talking about when they were trying to decide on a "date?" When it was over I said, "What happened???" My lawyer said the judge picked the date to give your your retroactive pay and YOU'VE WON YOUR CASE! I just broke down and cried in the middle of the parking lot. I hugged my daughter, my lawyer and lifted my hands to PRAISE GOD!!! I still can't believe it. I mean I've always had faith and believed for this ... but I still had some apprehension. PRAISE THE LORD ~ HE CAME THROUGH FOR ME. I WON ~ I WON ~ I WON !!! What a GR8 Birthday gift for my "50~year old" hubby. Finally J~U~B~I~L~E~E!!! Thank you all my friends who cared enough to pray and storm heaven for me. I am so grateful for you all. May God Bless each and everyone of YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH MY PRECIOUS FRIENDS and MY JESUS!!!

Donna, I am so happy for you. Praise the Lord!!! What a burden that has probably been lifted from your shoulders. Are you able to get assistance now with medical expenses? I couldn't get medical assistance through medicaid until I was on disability for 2 years. Our God is an awesome God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortunately, I don't need medical assistance as I am under my husbands health insurance with his job. But you are right after fighting the good fight of faith throughout my suffering, God has lifted a huge burden off my shoulders.

AMEN Donna Jean, AMEN!
I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted. I have been praising God since I left the hearing. I am still so surprised! I had a wonderful lawyer and God even used me there to pray for another woman whose attorney never showed up. She had Cerebral Palsy. I took her hand and asked God to give her favor. She was advised not to go before this judge without counsel but she was determined to go. Before I could say, In Jesus Name, AMEN ... My attorney walked in. He is a wonderful Christian man with a sweet demeanor. I told him about her and he gave her his card and said he would be glad to represent her case. It would only be postponed about a week. GOD is GOOD and so on TIME! I am ecstatic and I THANK each and everyone of you for your LOVE, support and friendship. Your prayers were heard and God rode on the wings of the wind to come to my rescue. Praise His Holy Name!!! Thank You so VERY MUCH for the part you played in keeping in touch with me and lifting me up in prayer! Now I can focus on just being a GLAM~MA, a Prayer Warrior for others and put this battle behind me. Victory in Jesus. To Him be all the Praise!!!

Dear Donna: Praise the Lord!!!! Now you will feel much better that you will have a monthly income, besides the back pay. It took me 3 years to get mine and after awhile you get kind of discouraged; but, you stuck with it and "WON!!!!!!!!" Congratulations, if I could do a cartwheel I would do one, but I can't get my legs up far enough. Don't spend your back pay all in one place (lol)

I am cracking up at your cartwheel comment. I'm so glad "Jesus is the wheel in the middle of the wheel" to spare you from having to do one. I appreciate the sentiment and the LOL! Whew! Am I relieved. What a looooooooooooong battle. We lost our home to forclosure when I lost my job due to my health ... so I'm hoping the back pay will be enough to help us find a new home. God has placed us in a condo for now .... but you know the old saying, "There's No Place Like Home!" Thank you for your sweet congratulations and wonderful sense of humor. You made my day!

Thank You for rejoicing with me Sweet Roma,
I am fortunate to have my medical coverage through my husband's job. It will be so nice to have a little income again to help with the expenses of living. I am so happy and God has been so good to answer so many of my prayers. We got to finally move to a new condo from my parents after two years, Phoenix was born, My daughter & son~in~law are living with us, helping with some expenses, both my parents survived Open Heart Surgery and are doing very well and my Husband is celebrating his 50th Birthday this week. We are going to have a big cook out tomorrow night to celebrate with just the kids over and a few friends. He's worked so hard to support me these past three years ... I went and bought him a new recliner so he can put his feet up and relax a little. I know he will be thrilled.
