God is healing my marriage!!!
Dear friends,
Some of you I confided in about my marriage falling apart and me trying to decide rather to stay or go. Well, I confided in my daughter (age 26) about what was going on because she commented I seemed so sad lately. God must have wanted to use her cuz I fell apart and started babbling about how I felt about my relationship between me and her dad. She began to share with me how her and her husband (married only 5 yrs.) had just recently gone thru a rough time and how they had thought about seperating too. I was shocked as I thought they had the "perfect" marriage. (Of course she said the same thing about me and her Dad, lol) Anyway, she said they went to their Pastor and confessed their struggles and thoughts of seperation and the Pastor shared with them that God's perfect plan for marriage did not include divorce unless adultery was involved, and even in that situation, forgiveness could be found. So he gave them a book to read that he had recently read (not even a proclaimed "christian" author) called The Seven Principles For Making Marriage Work. She shared how the book had really helped them realize why they responded to certain things, why their marriage wasn't working in certain areas, etc. So I got the book and started reading it on my own, while I was out of town. When I returned I finally told my husband how unhappy I was and was thinking of leaving him, But Kristi (daughter) had shared this book with me and now my mind was changed. We talked about issues, feelings, etc. (He had noticed I was distant) I asked if he would read this book with me and he said yes! So we are reading this book, along with scriptures (a daily devotional for couples) and WOW, what a change! God has really begun a new work in us and our marriage, in 1 week! So I ask for prayers of a hedge of protection be put around our marriage, so no harm can come to it while it heals. I also ask for prayers personally that the "feelings" of being in love with my husband will return with such passion he won't know what hit him, lol!
I hope and pray in sharing this that it will help just one person who may be struggling with their marriage. Praise God for loving us even when make a mess of things!

Praise The Lord Tammy, we serve such a gracious God. If we just let go of things ourselves and allow the Lord to have his way, what blessings we will receive. The two of you must remember that you are one in Christ, spend the time together sharing, praying, studying his word. Christ is the head of our marriage and as long as you keep him there, you'll both grow together in the Lord and in eachother. Giving God the Glory for Healing your marriage Amen Amen Thank You Sweet Jesus.

When God begins to draw me to Himself, the problem of my will comes in immediately. Will I react positively to the truth that God has revealed? Will I come to Him? To discuss or deliberate over spiritual matters when God calls is inappropriate and disrespectful to Him. When God speaks, neverExperience or God’s Revealed Truth?
My experience is not what makes redemption real— redemption is reality. Redemption has no real meaning for me until it is worked out through my conscious life.
